เมื่อวันที่ 24 ต.ค. 2561 นายเชิดเกียรติ อัตถากร เอกอัครราชทูตไทยประจำเคนยา และผู้แทนถาวรไทยประจำ UN Environment Programme (UNEP) และ UN Human Settlement Programme (UN-Habitat) พร้อมกับเอกอัครราชทูตและอุปทูตประเทศสมาชิกอาเซียนในเคนยา (ฟิลิปปินส์ มาเลเซีย และอินโดนีเซีย)ได้เข้าพบนาง Maimunah Mohd Sharif ผู้อำนวยการบริหาร UN-Habitat เพื่อหารือเกี่ยวกับการปฏิรูป UN-Habitat และโอกาสในความร่วมมือระหว่างอาเซียนกับ UN-Habitat ในอนาคต

          On 24 October 2018, H.E. Mr. Cherdkiat Atthakor, Ambassador of Thailand to Kenya and Permanent Representative of Thailand to UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and UN Human Settlement Programme (UN-Habitat), together with Ambassadors and Charge d’Affaires of ASEAN countries in Kenya (the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia), paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Maimunah Mohd Sharif, Executive Director of UN-Habitat. They exchanged views on UN-Habitat’s reform and possibility to enhance cooperation between ASEAN and UN-Habitat.
